On the drive back from Salado yesterday, we made a couple stops to photograph the wildflowers that make the Texas Hill Country so beautiful this time of year.
This was the first time I'd seen the famous bluebonnets - the state flower of Texas.
Bluebonnets and several other types of wildflowers just spring up alongside the road.
This is an Indian paint brush.
I don't know what this flower is, but I like it.
