Last week in St. Louis, NCGA treated the state staff to a Cardinal's baseball game just like they did last year.
Last year's game was my first time to attend a professional sporting event (other than rodeo), and this year was my second time.
Busch Stadium is an impressive venue. It has that old baseball feel to it, despite the fact that it's only a few years old. The red brick and the nostalgia that usually accompanies baseball make this place a great stadium to watch some baseball.
It's also a great place to eat sour krout on a hot dog and a giant salty pretzel.
Last Thursday, I flew from St. Louis to Tulsa to go home for the Easter weekend. While at home, we took Byron to his first Razorback function for some more baseball.
George Cole Field at Baum Stadium is also a cool place to watch America's past time. The Hogs have been doing well this year (of course they lost while I was trying to show them off to Byron), but they're still fun to watch.
Especially through really huge sunglasses like Natalie's.
Ribby stopped by for photo pose...
...and apparently to propose to Natalie.
